New Layout

Following on from the success of Hennock, I have commenced on a new layout. It is a continuous run of 11ft X 4'6'' based again on British Railways (Western Region). The track plan is similar to Buckfastleigh but has an additional bay platform from which a Southern Region M7 with Maunsell Push Pull set will operate. No name yet but is West Country themed. Track laying is almost complete and wiring will commence shortly

Some time since last post

Due to my camera losing it's connecting lead, I have been unable to provide new pix. New camera is now in action but my proficiency with it is somewhat questionable.
On Friday last, I participated in a mini-exhibition at Purbeck Model Railway group at Harmons Cross next to the Swanage Railway line. I took the oportunity to test new camera and I attach some of the results.
Will post on a more regular basis as I also attended the AGM of the 3mm Society on Saturday, 17th May. Ipurchased a Brynkits 2251 Collett kit. This also came with motor and gearbox-a great bargain! Parts to complete ongoing projects were also obtained so there is no excuse to finish those items.
