I am the Dorset Area Group Organiser for the 3mm Society.
The reason for choosing 3mm is that I can do some real modelling without the distraction of Ready to run models.
At present I have a 3mm layout, Hennock, which has been exhibited several times. It is also booked for several shows in the future. Currently I am building another 3mm Layout-Teignford.

Adding Details.
The roof has been coated with slates- Superquick in this instance.
Guttering has been added which finishes off the building to roof joint.
The bricks above the windows have been cut from a sheet of reduced Superquick brick paper that I used a colour photocopier for.
