Railway Workers.
These are some more that have been painted- this time though they are white metal castings.
Available from the 3mm Society, a few deft touches with a fine file or emery stick sees them ready for painting.
Two sets of loco crew and a man pushing a wheelbarrow ( which I haven't painted yet!)

1:100 People.
Whilst showing Teignford, at Bournemouth If I remember correctly, I found several packets of figures to 1;100 scale. Wether these are original Preiser or a Far East copy I cant be sure- one thing they were and thats a bargain.
I obtained more acrylic paint from a Wargaming company in Chrischurch- and whilst recovering from my recent incapacity slowly painted a few.
Here are the results-

3MM Society Mixed Traffic 196-July 2014.
The latest edition of the 3MM Society magazine has hit the doormat!
26 pages of articles and photographs is started with an editorial enthusing about the forthcoming Fiftieth Year of the 3MM Society.
The 2014 AGM is covered together with the winners and runners up of the various competitions. The magazine is littered with photos of the entrants which will encouage others to enter another time.
Richard Brice contributes a fascinating piece on the possibilities of Kitmaster Coaches whilst Barry Witteridge describes his first 3mm layout- Wedmore.
Alan Smith backdates a Dogfish whilst Jim Barry recalls his days with the P-Way gang. A layout based on Bere Alston is suggested by David Hart together with rolling stock that could be used.
Add to this a couple of Eric Bruton's classic photos of LMS steam, Blast Pipe, Bits and Pieces and a piece by Geoff Gay describing his 50 something layout and another excellent edition has arrived.

3MM Society Morris 8
After a coat of paint this is complete.
Remembering my fathers example DXE 790 - can't remember the 4 door reg except it began with NV- this one is as the latter in two tone black over deep blue.
Another example to grace Teignford at the next show which is Exmoor Rail on the 2nd August.

A bashed 08
Sorry for the gap in posts but this has been entirely due to me not being able to sit at a computer- amongst other things- for over six weeks. Compound this with severe throat infection- can't speak now- so I hope you will all be patient..
Seen on the left is Nigels 08 Diesel Shunter. Cut down from an original Triang with a Worsley Works chassis it really looks the part- where is it though?
