platform seats. Etched in brass that has been coated removing the necessity to prime before painting.
It's just a matter of separating the pieces from the etch and sticking together-well nearly!
The instructions advise that the parts should be stuck together with superglue- I agree.
The most fiddly bit is securing the frames- I used Blue-Tack as shown.apply glue and sit as shown- allow to dry and then attach the seat back.
All ready now for paint- will be light stone.

Hopefully, and all being well, Teignford, along with seven other layouts, will be at The Memorial Hall, Wootton Bassett, SN4 8EN , between 10.30 and 16.30 tomorrow 28th September 2013.
Regrettably Because of family bereavement Teignford has been withdrawn.

The roof has been cut to length and secured in place with Evo-stick whilst still wet.
I have some reservations on the way that I have assembled this kit- it just seemed that I was going about it wrongly.
Still- this one is ready for end steps and roof furniture- if I can find some vents which are similar to the drawings kindly given to me by Peter Bossum.
The next one will be assembled differently with the flat ends attached to the sides before fitting the etched bow ends.

It needed something simple and this is what I have come up with.
A dressmakers brass pin is soldered to the loop and bent through 90 degrees. The upright on the loop prevents buffer lock and anyway these will only be pulled not pushed through reverse curves.

Such a busy weekend with much to se, I only took a few shots of John's locos posed on Teignford.
The lighting was poor so please excuse the poor images.
To the left is the icon of the S&D the 7F.

|I really didn't want to give this back! A lovely 0-4-0 Pug seen sometime on the S&D. I really want one of these! It ran superbly.|
Bullied 34107, Blandford Forum also put in an appearance- and also had it's picture taken with its big brothers nameplate.

Please excuse the images to day- I have taken them from a well known auction site and they are not the best I have reproduced. I must speak to Nathan as
I need several of them for Teignford. I have an aversion to Paypal- long story- so I must see if I can send him a cheque instead-also I cant move the images so it is a bit disjointed- still its the product that is important and a very useful one at that. There are two distinct types which I think you can just make out the differences. So visit the auction site and make use of these useful pieces.

They are an etch that is available from Branchlines and are of two types.
There is four gent's cycles on one etch and the other contains two for ladies.
One of the ladies cycles has a child seat which really tried my patience and even now isn't right. Try getting heated on Blue-tac off something folded up and a couple of millimeters square- that took longer than making the bike!
Still have to clean them up and paint them.

Pleasantly surprised that Hennock is mentioned on the Warley Facebook site in the last few days-looking forward to the exhibition.
Posts will be every couple of days or so for the next few weeks due to an excess of work-a horrible condition- so please be patient. Hopefully flights will be on time to fulfill exhibition commitments- contingency plans have been made!

As part of the celebrations Blandford Museum are holding an exhibition link.
All the info is contained there- Teignford will be attending with several Dorset Group Members.

The coach, together with three others, was successfully bid on the day of our meeting at Cottees Auction in Wareham. These are Lima based with- apparently- PC self coloured sides.
The Lima wagon is one ebing weathered by Robert.
Back to 3mm- Peter is building wagons to 14.2mm gauge and a couple of pictures showing how far he has progressed

The lower shot shows it all ready for the paint shop.
A good blast of primer should show up any glaring gaps. The I need to decide on the livery, can't decide wether this will be a railway company vehicle or something else.

St.Agnes, Nigel Cullimores excellent rendition of the prototype is appearing at the Gillingham, Dorset show next weekend.
Teignford is at the Blandford Museums S&DJR 150th 'do' in Blandford the following weekend. Then both are at 3mm Scale Westfest in Wootten Bassett on the last Saturday in September.
