Right- the carcass has been completed and the base brick paper is in place. Simple to just measure and cut -then adhere around the base making sure it is square.
Next the tedious bit! Strips of card, postcard thickness is fine, are cut roughly from a sheet. Then they are layed on, shiplap style, to overlap the previous plank working from the bottom upwards.
The desired effect is shown in cruel enlargement in the lower photo. I warn you, this takes an age to do so patience and Brandy are the requisites.
